It gives me immense pleasure to bring to you First Dow University Health Expo 2009. Dow University Health Expo is another step in the continuous efforts of Dow University of Health Sciences to bring together health industry of Pakistan for a common objective of increased health awareness among general public of Pakistan, especially Sindh.

Since its establishment in December 2003, Dow University of Health Sciences has developed a number of facilities for bringing quality health care to the community. These include initiatives such as Sarwar Zuberi Liver Center, National Institute of Liver & GI diseases, Center for Diabetes & Endocrinology, Dow Diagnostic Laboratory, Image Diagnostics CT MRI DOPPLER US, Vocational Training Center, Center for Rehabilitation, 500 bed hospital at Medical Research City, Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan Institute of Oral Health Sciences (DIKIOHS) and Department of Infectious Diseases.

Whilst maintaining the high standards of education at Dow Medical College, Sindh Medical College & Ojha Institute of Chest Diseases, Dow University Health Sciences is committed to the further development of Health Manpower in the country, of international standard, and has established Institute of Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Technology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and health management. This has led to the vast increase in the options available to those passing high school examinations.
